I was so stoked when Bec asked me to document her pregnancy. She was happy for me to suggest an alternative to the traditional maternity timeline that you may have seen before. We embraced the changing seasons from Winter to Spring to Summer (well what there was of a Summer). We mixed up locations and times of the day to get a broad spectrum of light and colour. Bec’s partner Ryan is a fifo (fly in fly out) worker so when he was home, he was involved and when he wasn’t, we had some time just Bec and I and we even documented a coffee date with her favorite girls. And of course finished off with a newborn session of the adorable Chase. It was so great to finally meet him. I am so pleased with the result. Bec and Ryan ordered a canvas similar to this montage shown here which will go on their wall to remember and cherish for years to come. So very special. Thank you Bec and Ryan for allowing me to follow in your journey.
