Let me introduce you to the Boothman familly. Now tell me, can you or can you not see the love within this family from these images because boy oh boy did I see and feel it when I was in their presence. Sue was celebrating her 60th birthday and her family organised a surprise afternoon of family photography for her. They gave her some notice so she could get ready and I arrived to many a gorgeous smiling face and welcoming hearts.
They enjoyed cake, a high tea, some bubbles (both kinds!) and scotch and lots of fun in the yard with the kids. This is how an extended family shoot should be – everyone just enjoying one another’s company while I am there taking some photos along the way. I spent a glorious two hours with them and walked away so happy.
Here is what Sue said about the images she received:
“Thank you for the amazing photo shoot. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful family and you have captured them beautifully. I have looked at the photos many times and love every photo. A keepsake I will treasure forever. You are truly a very talented photography. Thank you again.”
Well wasn’t that just the most fabulous message to receive on my return to work for 2018. It really did make my New Year. Thank you Sue and thank you to Hayley for organising your special afternoon. When can I come back? 😉
