I spent the day with the amazing Jess from Essence Images learning all there is to learn about the photography technique that is Moment Design.

I loved Jess’s approach to teaching as she was genuinely interested in me as a person, in getting to know me and why I was there wanting to learn Moment Design.  You could tell she has a real fascination with how people tick and wanting to get the most out of each individual’s learning experience.  She has some really unique and fun tools through art and poetry to help show us that digging deep into who we are as Photographers and taking a breath to appreciate all that we are and all that our subjects are is important and will in turn shine through in our Moment Design sessions and our journey to become the artists that we so desire.  It was fantastic to see first hand how the invites work on a family and be given the opportunity to test out a few for ourselves.  I can’t wait to get stuck into practicing all the techniques that I learnt from the workshop.  Thank you again Jess and thank you to this wonderful family that modelled for us.  They completely embraced Moment Design and gave us so many fabulous pictures.

If you are a Photographer and would love to know more about Moment Design, I thoroughly recommend looking Jess up – you’ll love her as much as I do.  Check out the link below for more details:

Essence Images – Moment Design Workshops

If you are a family looking at a session with Colour of Life Photography, I encourage you to get in touch and I can show you first hand how much fun my sessions can be which in turn produce images such as these.  I can’t wait to hear from you!

My Garden

My garden has lots of space.  It has an area for large open spaces of nothingness, big trees, small trees, lots of colour
and a wide variety of flowers & beauty.  It also has weeds but they are small.  They can be kept on top of and not focused on.

My garden has vegetables for nourishment.  The sun is large and is the light that is the main focus with colour and variety
a close second.  I need variety and change in people, weather, what my eyes see, what I eat and what I do but
my garden of variety and colour also has order with everything in its place.

There is a place to grow, a place for reflection, a place for space and a place for beauty.
There is room for everybody.
Welcome to my garden.
