The other day I was reminded just how important it is to eat with our kids.  With a shift worker for a dad and a mum who runs a business from home and often preoccupied and both of us trying to fit in exercise to keep fit, we seem to less and less share a meal all together as a family.  After 8 days of sickness in our house and half the family not eating – we all sat down to home made sausage rolls for lunch the other day on our deck and the excitement in our kids faces that we were all having a ‘sausage roll picnic’ together was priceless and quickly reminded me how the little things make us the most happy.  Time to prioritise the little things before the little ones aren’t so little anymore!!
