We worked it out this year that because of the way Jack’s shift work plays out, it means that he will have to work every single Fathers Day FOR EVER – either day or night shift – one or the other……well until he retires (hopefully he’ll be there til then). Boo hoo!! Not fair. We feel so blessed to have him as a shift worker, it means he is around a lot for the kids (and me) but there are of course the sacrifices and things he misses out on and we as a family sometimes miss out on but you can’t have it all hey and we will certainly take this life any day of the week. And if a game of Stacks on Dad in the morning after breakfast and before he heads off to bed is all we can get – then that’s what we’ll take.
See what my other fabulously talented soul sisters are up to this month by following the circle around starting with the lovely Lynette Wilkinson
Stacks ON!!!! Dad’s love it don’t they? xx
Yeah to a point – think he was a little scared during the anticipation. Lots of fun to watch though 🙂
Boo to shift work. It sucks sometimes. Your family is gorgeous though.
Thanks Isabel – I think they are pretty darn cute 🙂
oh there’s memories being created right there! So much fun x
Sure is! x
